>H<>K<>CThe Essex foxhounds obviously hunt foxes. Female foxes are called vixens and males are called a dog fox. They live in a hole in the ground called an earth. We start hunting in the Autumn and then carry on through the Winter, whatever the weather!!
Everyone is welcome, adults and kids, on foot (in a car or walking) or on a horse or pony. Most people on the hunting field carry a hunting whip and adults usually carry a hip-flask but we know a few kids who do to!!
